Catherine S Cowan

Maggie Catherine Story Cowan, age 79, was born to the late Will and Marie Horston Story on May 28, 1944, in Ripley, MS. She entered into her heavenly rest on December 9, 2023, at her home.

She professed a love of Christ at an early age at Bethlehem MBC, where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. A hard worker her entire adult life, She worked various jobs before retiring from Carrier Corporation after 16.5 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband
of 57 years Roger; her daughters; Anesha (Kwame), Melany, Melissa (Jason), and Monica (Phillip); six grandchildren, sisters; Mae Rene Gillard and Lila Faye Liggins (Ernest); sisters-in-law Sallie Hailey (William), Carolyn Prather (Phillip) and Brenda Storey (James); and a host of nieces, nephews, cous- ins, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Foster & Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS from 12p-7p with the family present from 5p-7p. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 14, 2023, 2p, at Bethlehem MBC, Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Boyd Cemetery, Ripley, MS.
