Karter E Wilson

In loving memory of our cherished Karter Wilson, a bright and beautiful soul who graced our lives with love and laughter. At just 12 years old, Karter touched the hearts of everyone he met with his infectious smile and boundless enthusiasm for life.

Born on October 19th, 2011 to parents Kentish & Estella Wilson in Germantown TN, Karter was a beloved son, brother, grandson, Nephew, cousin and friend. He cherished his family above all else and found joy in spending time with them, whether it was playing video games, sharing funny stories, or simply enjoying each other's company.

Karter was a 6th grade student at Ripley Middle School and touched the hearts of his fellow classmates. Outside of the classroom Karter had a passion for all things video games (especially NBA 2k24). He also enjoyed all things NBA YoungBoy. However, his true gift was his ability to bring people together. His warm presence lit up any room, and his genuine kindness and compassion knew no bounds. He had a knack for making everyone feel loved and valued, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

Karter leaves to cherish his memories: His parents Kentish & Estella Wilson, one brother Levi Wilson, two grandparents: Darlene Wilson & Gwen Evans and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his older brother: Zachariah Wilson, one grandmother: Sulla Gibbs, three grandfathers: Lorenzo (Billy) Gibbs, Harvey Evans, Walter Boyd.

Although Karter may no longer be with us physically, his spirit lives on in the memories we shared and the love he bestowed upon us.

We take comfort in knowing that he is watching over us from above, surrounded by the warmth and love of those who went before him.

Karter, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Your light continues to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us through the darkness with love and strength. Rest peacefully, Karter!

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Foster & Son Funeral Home, Ripley, MS from 12p-7p; with the family present from 5p-7p. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024, 2p at Ripley High Event Center, Ripley, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Ruckersville Cemetery, Falkner, MS.
